My name is Angie and I joined the LOCATIONS team earlier this year and I haven’t looked back.

I have over 10 years of experience in real estate and it is at the core of my daily life.  I have embraced our office team environment. We have a shared focus on working together through our combined knowledge, fresh approach, regular training and innovative marketing ideas to deliver outstanding results for our clients.  In today’s market, it is imperative to maintain active interest from buyers in a property.  At LOCATIONS we invest heavily in developing new and innovative ways to advertise our listings for sale, through technology and good old fashioned customer service.  We also build good relationships with buyers to ensure we keep them updated on market trends and alert them of any new properties up.  For us, the role of a traditional agent has changed and now more than ever, we are here to consult and partner with our clients to achieve their real estate goals.

Market Improvement

These last few months have been extremely busy as we start to see solid evidence of the market turning here in Gladstone.  The last 45 days have been particularly busy and we have seen multiple offers being transitioned to contracts and an office record broken for number of transactions in one month since LOCATIONS’ inception in 2013.  This is not to blow our own trumpet but we feel it is important to let our broader community know that the market is changing so they can reassess their view and position in the market and make appropriate decisions regarding their property portfolio.  Further to this, as an office we are fully aware of the high expectations we put on ourselves to service our clients in this new age of real estate activity, and we know that it is essential that we as a team pull together to achieve outstanding results for our clients.  Now more than ever, we know it is critical for us to be accessible for our clients so they can make timely, educated decisions.

Relationships are Critical

With good strong relationships within the community and with trusted contractors, we can provide our clients with additional value to achieve optimum results.  Helping clients to showcase their home at its absolute best helps ease the stresses of selling and with a bit of luck, also reduces the time on market.  I have always believed that real estate is more than putting up a sign and waiting for the sign to ring – anyone can do that.  For me, working the listing as much as possible, utilising technology including our database, working in with other agents and having a client centric focus are the epitome of what real estate professionals should be doing for their clients.  I am an agent who dedicates myself 100% to giving your property the best possible exposure to bring you the best possible price and convert this to SOLD!

A Good Agent is an Investment

If an agent pitches a cheap marketing campaign for your property, make sure you are comparing apples with apples.  Is it is a combination of cost effective marketing or is it just cheap for the sake of being cheap.  A good agent will know the importance of investing in a proven marketing campaign to suit your individual property and budget.  They will also ask about your ‘WHY’ rather than ‘HOW’ because this is a critical point in the campaign as it will impact timeframes around selling and how to negotiate the best possible deal for you.  A good agent will guide and negotiate with their client through a listing presentation or inspection because they genuinely care and also appreciate the value of helping their clients to achieve their real estate goals.  This is the importance of consulting clients rather than selling to clients.
