It’s been two decades since I started my career in Real Estate. I am proudly renowned for being sincere and personable while dealing with clients. A trait that ensures a high number of repeat clients and referrals.

Just this week, I received a call from a past client needing an appraisal for their current property. I feel honoured that they remembered me and explained that they remembered how much attention and guidance I provided for their mum during the sale of their family home. One of my favourite sayings is ‘treat others as you wish to be treated’ and it’s an ethic I have passed on to all of my children and grandchildren.

I grew up in the Yarwun district and went to school in Mount Larcom. I am very passionate about our region, in particular the rural properties. At the moment during these testing times with COVID 19, it is encouraging to see that we are experiencing great demand for homes. Our rental market is going up allowing tenants the opportunity to purchase their first home with such low interest rates. It is also a strong market for those considering selling, so I would encourage you to arrange an appraisal for your property to get the best understanding of where you sit in this market.

Combined with local, steady interest is still being shown by inter-state buyers who see our region as a very attractive, affordable place to live. Rural land is also in demand as few southerners are looking for a lifestyle change and are choosing our beautiful region to look for real estate.

We are fortunate here in Gladstone as we have smaller suburbs that are only 25 to 40 minutes from the CBD, which also attract lower rates and lifestyle living. With some big projects being pledged into our region (Arrow energy’s $10billion Surat basin project as example), and local upgrades like the newly completed East Shores precinct we hope to further influence the decisions of many buyers.

If you considering your next move, please feel free to use my enthusiasm and knowledge for the local area, towards your future plans.
